Elana, Jessie and Pearl

Oh, how I love photographing families in Lincoln Park in West Seattle. There are so many options for great locations. The photo session was in July, I just haven’t had time to post the photos!

Camila-10 days old

I have been having a wonderful time lately photographing pregnant couples, newborns and families. These were done on-location in the comfort of the couple’s home. Congratulations Kate and Marisa on your beautiful baby girl!

Benjamin and Nathaniel, part two

I have been busy with great assignments ranging from law firm portraits to families to toddlers and have fallen behind on my posting. Here are a few more really special photos of Benjamin and Nathaniel. They were fabulous models!

Benjamin and Nathaniel-Child photography

I really love photographing children. Given the time, they can really surprise you with their expressions. There are many more photographs of Benjamin and Nathaniel that I’d like to post, but I’m on a time crunch today. Hope you enjoy this one! Meryl

Kindra’s beautiful belly

I had a wonderful time with Kindra. The ex-roller derby athlete was very relaxed during her pregnancy session.  We got a large variety of images, but this set was my favorite, and the most unusual.

Michelle and Imogen-Pregnancy Photos

I really had a wonderful time making pregnancy photos with Michelle and her family. Their openness allowed for much creativity. I am very happy with this set of maternity photos, but I’d love feedback on which are your absolute favorites and if you prefer the color or black and white photographs. Thanks! Meryl

Karey and Jonah

In preparation for my upcoming exhibit of family photography at Birth and Beyond beginning on May 1, I am going through photos to decide what to display. I really enjoy working with families to document this special time in their lives. Here, Jonah is getting used to the idea of having a brother.

I do my pregnancy and family photography both on location and in my studio. Some people feel more comfortable in their own surroundings and some people like to come to my home where I have my studio.

Will and Carter

Will and Carter have moms that are best friends, so they wanted to have their children photographed together. Will is 10 months and Carter is 5 months. Carter doesn’t really sit up yet, but using some creativity, we got him to appear to sit up. I really enjoyed spending time with these children!
